The route
From Vadodara, most drivers head east into Madhya Pradesh through the tribal districts of Jhabua and Dhar, reaching Dhamnod and then Maheshwar. From Ahmedabad, drive to Vadodara first. Several routes are possible; check live navigation on the day, since road conditions change.
